- Comment I moved this article to mainspace, as stated above, but I was not the author. The article was written almost entirely by TrimmerinWiki (talk). Does anyone know if there's a way to credit them in the nomination? Noahfgodard (talk) 21:46, 1 September 2020 (UTC)
- I've added a credit for them inside the commented credits part. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 07:16, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- Interesting detailed article on fine sources, no copyvio obvious. Sorry, with all that rich material, I find the hook plain boring. Anything that he did and nobody else? Using Australian features? Vistas? - How about an image and make a hook around it? I'd appreciate a bit more lead, and/or an infobox, best both ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:06, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
- I left a note for the nominator on his talk page. Yoninah (talk) 12:58, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: Maybe something about his immigration to Australia?
- ALT2:
... that following the outbreak of the First World War, landscape gardener Paul Sorensen emmigrated from his native Denmark to Australia, living there until his death in 1983?Source: "Sorensen was later to state that it was the outbreak of the First World War (although his homeland Denmark was neutral) that motivated him to migrate to Australia..." "- Sorry, I somehow overlooked ALT1, which isn't perfect but better than ALT2, I think. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:04, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I don't see the hook fact in the inline cite provided in the article (footnote 1). I also changed "improved" to "enhanced" if indeed this close paraphrasing exists in the source. Perhaps "enriched" could also work. Yoninah (talk) 11:33, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
- Noahfgodard, how is this source about his improvements, specifically at Everglades, - and could we perhaps make a hook around that place if he's known for it? ... instead of so general? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:54, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
