Pooh-pooh

edit
  • ... that some commentators describe pooh-pooh as "malicious"?

  • Date, length and hooks all OK. Personally I would have said this was very rich grounds for an April Fools Day hook. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 17:46, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for the prompt review, The C of E! I agree that this could work well as an April Fools Day hook. I'm not familiar with the procedures for nominating a hook for April 1, and I'm not sure if we need an independent reviewer to move it to the April 1 holding area. I'll go ahead and ask for guidance at WT:DYK. Best, -- Notecardforfree (talk) 18:18, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
I should also mention that this may work better as an April Fool's Day hook if we use the alternate spelling "poo-poo." -- Notecardforfree (talk) 18:35, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
@Notecardforfree: I have moved it to the AFD holding area and agree that using poo in the hook would be an excellent idea. Should you wish to put poo in the hook, my original review will stand for the removal of a letter. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 18:49, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Thanks, The C of E. I added ALT2 and ALT3 above with the alternate spelling. Best, -- Notecardforfree (talk) 19:29, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
I'm striking the original and ALT1 just to reinforce that poo must appear on the main page. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 13:14, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Belated alt:
  • ALT4: ... that hurling poo-poo at your opponent is frowned upon? Gatoclass (talk) 12:45, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
  • ALT4 hook ref verified and cited inline. Rest of review per The C of E; in addition, article is neutrally written, no close paraphrasing seen, and QPQ done. I prefer ALT4 for April Fools Day. Yoninah (talk) 18:27, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
