Première rêverie
edit- ... that William-Adolphe Bouguereau's painting Première rêverie has been considered one of the top exhibits of the New Orleans Museum of Art?
- ALT1:... that William-Adolphe Bouguereau's painting Première rêverie (1889) is described as one of his most important of the period?

- Expanded enough, recently enough, adequately referenced, neutrally written, no close paraphrasing seen. Hook ref verified and cited inline. But QPQ not done. Good to go when done. Epeefleche (talk) 07:38, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

- No worries. Now good to go. For those who are confused by the above, I gather that Crisco 1492 and Chris Woodrich are the same editor. Epeefleche (talk) 22:19, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
- Well, yeah. The link goes to the same user page. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 23:10, 26 June 2015 (UTC)

- Why does the painting have a different name in the infobox to the article? Gatoclass (talk) 10:49, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for catching that. Someone had previously had it at Les murmures de l'amour (seen here) but in the course of expanding the article I realized that such a title was found nowhere but Wikipedia and Wikipedia mirrors. The English Whisperings of Love was used by the gallery, but Bouguereau's catalogue raisonné uses this French title (as do numerous other sources). Per WP:Commonname, I moved the article to Première rêverie. I thought I'd gotten all instances of the old title, but I guess I hadn't. Fixed now though. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 11:11, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
- Just out of curiosity, why didn't you nominate this for an image slot? Gatoclass (talk) 11:41, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
- Didn't think it looked very good at 100px. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 11:56, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
- Pity - nice painting. Though I guess we've had quite a few paintings of pretty young things in the image slot recently. But since it isn't a candidate for the lead, I hope you won't mind that I've added the word "painting" to the hooks by way of clarification. Gatoclass (talk) 12:06, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
