Rayleigh-Plesset equation
edit- ... that the size of a spherical bubble in an infinite body of liquid is described by the Rayleigh–Plesset equation?

- Article new enough, long enough. Sourced okay.
- Hook fine, source verified.
- QPQ done
- Only the article's lead section is referenced.--Carabinieri (talk) 23:07, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- To clarify, each paragraph of the article is supposed to have an inline citation, as is the hook fact. The latter is true, but none of the three subsections under Derivation are. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:58, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- Corrected - the derivation came primarily from Brennan, 1995. I have now added inline citations to Brennen in the derivation, where appropriate. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 18:46, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- I appreciate the article is about an equation but it needs humanising a bit. Why is it important? Who named it that? Secretlondon (talk) 22:06, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
- Carabinieri, are you satisfied that your issue has been solved? Is Secretlondon's caveat one that should stop a DYK nomination? BlueMoonset (talk) 06:14, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- I am satisfied. I'm not sure if this nomination should be held up by Secretlondon's concerns. This article isn't particularly accessible to the lay reader, but then again that's difficult when it comes to mathematical or scientific topics.--Carabinieri (talk) 04:23, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
- Reinstating tick. Up to Secretlondon to decide whether the caveats expressed above rise to the level of preventing a DYK on the article. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:39, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
