  • Hook: Seems to be original research, not a supposition made in reliable sources. Another hook, please. Perhaps something like ALT1 ... that immunologist and AIDS advocate Robert Frascino suggested his contracting the disease may serve a higher purpose? or ALT2 ... that immunologist and AIDS advocate Robert Frascino was known simply as Dr. Bob on the internet?
Article: Long enough, new enough. Referencing is thorough and formatted. Paraphrasing looks okay to me.
Summary: We need to hammer out a good hook here. Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:47, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
I'm fine with creating a new hook if it's necessary. However, I don't see the original one as OR. My line of thinking is (1) There's a sourced statement saying that he didn't attend the University of Rochester because the music and science facilities were too far apart, (2) There's a sourced statement saying this led him to attend Oberlin College instead, and (3) There's a sourced statement saying that he never intended to study medicine, but did so at the urging of one particular Oberlin College professor, whom he obviously would not have met if he had attended the University of Rochester. I prefer the original hook. However, if the whole hook needs to come from a single source, I'd be okay with something like ALT3 ... that immunologist and AIDS advocate Robert Frascino nearly studied music instead of medicine? If not that, I'd be okay with something similar to ALT1 above, such as ALT4 ... that immunologist and AIDS advocate Robert Frascino considered himself privileged after being infected with HIV?
I'm open to other suggestions but still prefer the original hook if possible. Armadillopteryxtalk 16:58, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
  • I think ALT4 is the best here. Regarding the original, it is certainly interesting but I am worried about how much synthesis we'd be allowed; no specific source puts the two together. Crisco 1492 (talk) 17:13, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
