Stadtschloss, Wiesbaden
edit... that the richly decorated, 145 room Wiesbaden City Palace (pictured) in Germany has survived two Revolutions and both World Wars to become the home of the Hessian State Parliament?

- The article is long enough and new enough. The hook is supported with inline reference. The photo is public domain. There are just a couple close paraphrasing issues that need to be addressed. Also, I recommend removing less-interesting details from the hook. How about:
ALT1 ... that the Wiesbaden City Palace (pictured) in Germany has survived two revolutions and both World Wars to become the home of the Hessian State Parliament?

- close paraphrasing from translation fixed, except in cases where formal titles are involved. When doing that I realized the whole thing suffered from minor redundancies, so did a copyedit to clean up. New hook is fine, I'd suggest leaving in the 145-room but take out the "richly decorated" bloat.
- ALT2 ... that the 145-room Wiesbaden City Palace (pictured) in Germany has survived two revolutions and both World Wars to become the home of the Hessian State Parliament?
