Teungku Chik di Tiro

edit
  • ALT1:... that troops under the command of Teungku Chik di Tiro reduced the area of Aceh controlled by the Dutch to 4 square kilometres (1.5 sq mi) of land?
  • ALT2:... that Teungku Chik di Tiro drew inspiration for a holy war against Dutch colonials during a trip to Mecca?
  • Comment: Could we save this for 21 January?

  • The cite for 4 sq km is a circular link that returns to the same article! That means ALT1 is no good. Binksternet (talk) 03:35, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
  • Article length and date are good, citations are plentiful throughout, all three hook lengths are okay. Online references support the first hook and also ALT2. Personally, I don't like the surprise pipe link joining Aceh War with holy war in the hooks. I would change that, eliminating the pipe link and the wikilink both. • Removing the wikilinks is fine. The ref for the second hook is just broken, not linked to the article. I've fixed the ref, which now links to this. Crisco 1492 (talk) 06:52, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
  • Online sources confirm all three hooks. The surprise pipe link problem has been cleared up. I prefer the first hook. Binksternet (talk) 08:05, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
