Transgender people in Nazi Germany
- ... that in just one night, thousands of books on the experiences and medical care of transgender people in Nazi Germany were burned (pictured) for being "un-German"? Source: NBC The Forward The Guardian
- ALT1: ... that both trans men and trans women were prosecuted in Nazi Germany? Source: Cambridge

- Comment: Only my second nomination so my understanding is I shouldn't need QPQ yet! Please let me know if this is incorrect.

Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Transgender people in Nazi Germany; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- Passes critera. New enough (5× expanded within 7 days of nomination); is long enough; sourcing checks out. Earwig tool pops up with unlikely copyvio violation, so that's good. Both ALT0 and ALT1 hooks have a lot of serious weight to it, which is always nice to see in the DYK section imo. They are interesting as well. Hooks are sourced properly. Article more than clears presentability expectation. QPQ criteria moot here. I would say good job on expanding the article, as well as on the nom. Should be good to go for DYK.
