- I'm afraid I've had to pull this from prep as I don't understand the hook - what does "gave USA Basketball the lead for good" mean? Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:25, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
- It means gave the team a lead which they managed to retain until the end of the game. I also considered this term before promoting the hook. The fact is stated in the article and in the source. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:27, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

- ALT1 : ... that Tyus Battle scored a deciding goal in the 2014 FIBA Under-17 World Championship three seconds before the first period ended? Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:38, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
- That is sort of the same fact. I have no problem with the suggestion.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 03:49, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
- 23W, can you please check ALT1, and give it a tick if it meets with your approval? Many thanks. I've struck the original hook due to Ritchie333's objections. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:02, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
- Whoops, didn't get the ping. Reads more accessibly, and is still cited. 23W 06:49, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
