VRSS-1
edit- ... that Venezuela's second satellite, VRSS-1 was launched at the end of September?
- ALT1:... that Venezuelan satellite VRSS-1 has been named after revolutionary Francisco de Miranda?
- ALT2:... that Venezuelan satellite VRSS-1 was manufactured and launched by the Chinese?

- Comment: I think it's interesting/exciting that it was launched today, 29 Sept 2012. Given Tom Paine a credit for starting User:Tom_Paine/sandbox/VRSS-1

- There was a substub previously existing under a different name. VRSS-1 is 1677 chars, Venezuela Remote Sensing Satellite is 379 characters. I presume the article could only qualify as a x5 expansion now - as long as I get the merged article to 1895 chars. Secretlondon (talk) 21:42, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
- There's a merge notice on the page. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:04, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
- I've removed the merge notice - consensus was that the only merge would be from the substub to the larger article, and there was nothing to merge. I've increased the article size so that it counts as a x5 expansion. I hope this is okay. Secretlondon (talk) 20:16, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
- New enough, long enough, interesting hook, cited. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 11:21, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
