edit- ... that the white-throated honeyeater (pictured) was known as the gay honeyeater in the early 20th century? Source: Fraser/Australian bird names

- Nice article, up to the usual high standards. It's new enough, long enough, reliably sourced, well-written and illustrated. The hook fact is interesting and sourced. I think there could be a more amusing version though. What do you think of the following? Prioryman (talk) 18:04, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
- * ALT1 ... that the white-throated honeyeater (pictured) used to be gay, but isn't any more?
- Reviewer needed to check ALT1 hook to see whether it's okay to run as is, since it was proposed by original reviewer. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:36, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
- Approving ALT1 as being amusing and having an inline citation. Either it or ALT0 could be promoted. The image is appropriately licensed and the rest of the review as per Prioryman. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 20:07, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
