Willie Thrasher
edit- ... that in the 1960s, Inuit musician Willie Thrasher formed Inuvik's first rock 'n' roll band?

- @The Interior: Currently the article doesn't mention that he "headed" the band – either that must be added to the article with a reference, or the hook should be changed to say simply that he was in the band. Either way, it's a great hook. 97198 (talk) 12:09, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
- 97198, I've changed the wording in the hook to say Thrasher "formed" the Cordells, which is the wording I used in the article. The Financial Times ref uses "created". Do you feel this is sufficiently similar? (None of the refs say explicitly that he "headed" the band, so you're right that we need different wording). - New – Created in sandbox and moved to mainspace on 25th Nov and nominated on 5th Dec.
- Long enough – the prose portion is at least 1,500 characters
- Within policy – The article appears neutral, it has many inline citations and I cannot find any evidence of copyright violations.
- Hook - It is fewer than 200 characters, it is interesting and is cited within the article.
- QPQ – Done.
