Yoruba tribal marks

edit
  • ... that, while common in the past, application of Yoruba Tribal Marks is becoming illegal in certain Yoruba states?

  • Can the fair-use image be used in this article, as well as the other bio article it appears in? — Brianhe (talk) 14:23, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
  • It would need its own (separate) fair-use justification. Without that, no. This needs to be settled before the DYK nomination can be approved. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:53, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
Done. A free image had been used. Thanks! Wikigyt@lk to M£ 19:30, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
  • The text description of the Gọmbọ style marks doesn't jive with the new picture. The text says the marks are half inch long but in the picture they go down from the hairline to cover the whole cheek. Brianhe (talk) 22:07, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
  • This article is new enough and long enough. Going for ALT2 which has inline citations for the hook facts. The article is neutral and I found no close paraphrasing. There is no image in the nomination although there could be. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:04, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
  • The book references are not properly cited. The publisher is not google.co.uk. Please see WP:Citation templates for citing authors and publishers. Yoninah (talk) 21:59, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: Okay, I just took the time to fix ALL the ref citations, though it might have been better if the request had gone to the article's authors... Eruditescholar and Wikicology for whom I simply sent this to DYK. Schmidt, Michael Q. 00:00, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
  • I DID post the request on the two page creators' pages; you just got to it first! Thank you for taking care of the refs. Now, an inline cite is needed for ALT2. (Perhaps you should wait a day for the page creators to respond.) Yoninah (talk) 00:14, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
Well, I hate being tardy... specially when a DYK has been sitting for so very long. Thank you. Schmidt, Michael Q. 14:25, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
@Yoninah: I'm deeply sorry for the late response, I was a bit busy with other things outside Wikipedia. ALT2 now cited! Many thanks to Sir Michael. Wikigyt@lk to M£ 03:33, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
  • Thank you. ALT2 hook ref verified and cited inline. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 14:54, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
