Yuki Kawauchi
edit- ... that marathon runner Yuki Kawauchi shaved his head as an apology to his fans after a poor performance at the Tokyo Marathon meant he missed the London Olympics?

- Seems to meet the guidelines for a BLP nomination. My only reservation concerns the structure, punctuation and wording, which I think needs work(?) Perhaps it could be re-worded, e.g. "...that Japanese marathon runner Yuki Kawauchi shaved his head as an apology to fans after missing the London Olympics, following a poor performance at the Tokyo Marathon?" - Yes it isn't quite right - I suppose I could drop the Olympic bit (it's not like it didn't have enough coverage) and just say: SFB 17:26, 26 February 2013 (UTC)

- ALT1 ... that Japanese marathon runner Yuki Kawauchi shaved his head as an apology to his fans after a poor performance at the Tokyo Marathon?
- Unable to tell whether Grant's comment on "structure, punctuation and wording" referred to the original hook only or the article as a whole. The new hook needs review, and the reviewer should check the article to be sure it doesn't have those issues. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:57, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- This article is well written, new enough and long enough. The hook is well sourced and it is ready to go with ALT1. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 11:58, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
