Template talk:DC Studios drafts

Repurposing this template

With the reboot looming, I think the best way forward is to convert this navbox to a generic, all-encompassing DC Studios template, including those from Category:DC Comics drafts and the Batman subcat. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:29, 30 January 2023 (UTC)

Is there potentially a way that we can toggle the DCEU drafts cat from being added to not for the Elseworlds projects? Because we surely don't want The Batman - Part II to be automatically added to the DCEU drafts cat but still want this template there. Trailblazer101 (talk) 08:51, 13 February 2023 (UTC)

James Gunn's TV series

I think Draft:Waller (TV series), Draft:Untitled The Suicide Squad spin-off series, and Draft:Untitled James Gunn DC television series may all be the same thing. InfiniteNexus (talk) 23:58, 31 January 2023 (UTC)

I'm not convinced that Creature Commandos is the other The Suicide Squad spin-off that Gunn was planning before the takeover. I haven't seen any indication that it existed before the DCU planning started (and we know Gunn basically wrote it all in the last couple of months, which doesn't seem to align with the "working heavily" on it comment). It does have some connections to The Suicide Squad but I also wouldn't describe it as being based on a character from The Suicide Squad per the information we have now. I think we should be assuming that these are two separate series until we get confirmation otherwise. - adamstom97 (talk) 19:36, 13 February 2023 (UTC)

Mhm, you bring up a good point I didn't really think about before. Above the Line (which was present for the press day) said in their article that the Bride of Frankenstein will be positioned as the series' lead, so that would actually mean those two are not the same.
