It was a gem, but it IS copyrighted by the Museum of the Rockies, so I don't think we can use it here (darn!). BUT: I think we might be able to still use it in the article with a fair use rationale. Montanabw^(talk) 22:43, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

I suggest a tighter wording for the hook: ... that Albert, Alfred and Chris Schlechten were a family noted for their photography of the Bozeman, Montana area and Yellowstone National Park?

Either is fine with me. However, I made a couple suggested edits to the "fun" hook to clarify the nuance (the ENTIRE annual had spoof photos throughout!). Whichever is preferred is fine with me! Montanabw^(talk) 20:01, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Comments/discussion:

Prose isn't perfect and it would be best if the author made another editing pass today. I corrected a few items and it looks sufficient. I wish there were more sources, but this is a pretty obscure topic and I doubt we'll be able to dig up any more without a Wikipedian in Residence at the Museum of the Rockies. But it's a great topic and there's enough to work with for a short article, and the yearbook incident provides enough color to keep things interesting. Gamaliel (talk) 19:40, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the comments and pass-through. Not too bad for something I whipped up in about 30 minutes... will do another run-through, but sources are a challenge. To me the Yellowstone stuff is particularly fascinating, given the transportation challenges of taking an 11 x 14 field camera into Yellowstone at the turn of the century.  ;-) Montanabw^(talk) 20:04, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
