Citation #1 is a link to a search page. Searching for "shearwater" reveals a citation for a document that it says has not been digitized yet. If this is an online citation, please provide a direct link or some idea how to access this. If this is an offine citation, please provide a full citation for the document in question. Comments/discussion:
- I think all the answers here are technical. Citation #1 links to the (rotten) NPS Focus database. This problem has received extensive discussion at WT:NRHP and we've decided that this is necessary to show that the NRHP nomination form has been accepted. The main thing is the reference number 09000135, which shows that it has been accepted. If the record had been digitized then it would show exactly the contents of Citation #3. When looking at the first link in citation # 3.please look near the bottom of page 6 (their numbering - or Section 8, page 2 in the original numbering) for the exact reference for the hook. BTW - I'll be happy to take up any suggestions you have for a better way to do Citation # 1 at WT:NRHP.
- The caption I tried to put in the DYK nomination form was "The Shearwater off of Ellis Island" But if this is an ALT-text type of caption it should probably be "A two-masted boat sailing in front of a brick building"
- I also couldn't figure out how to put in the article I reviewed which was Jug Tavern [1], which btw is also an NRHP article (something I usually avoid reviewing for DYK - but with the new system I wanted to be sure I knew what I was doing on the review!) . Thanks for your understanding on my lack of polish on the new DYK process. Smallbones (talk) 21:14, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
- I'm fairly new to DYK myself so we're both in the same boat, if you forgive the pun. We'll sort this out. On the issue of the citation, we can defer to the folks at WT:NRHP. They have more experience than I and so it would be better to do that then to reinvent their wheel. Gamaliel (talk) 23:18, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
Okay I messed with the formatting and figured out how to address the caption and the reviewed DYK issue. I think we're ready to go. Gamaliel (talk) 23:24, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
