Template talk:Smoke point of cooking oils

Latest comment: 4 months ago by CompyN in topic You forgot canola oil

Missing smoking points of animal-derived cooking fats / oils such as Ghee (clarified butter), Tallow (rendered form of beef or mutton fat), Duck Fat, Chicken Fat etc. These are widely used in ethnic cooking of many cultures including in the US.

== obvious inconsistency for canola, etc. ==

This is not and edit but I don`t know how else to talk to someone on Wiki. I am asking a question about what difractionated means. I can find fractionated on the internet but there's no reference apart from this article for difractionated. Also, I forgot my password & the new one you sent me didn't work. It wouldn't accept my username or password. I put in my first name, my last name, my sister's name, my pets names but nothing worked, so I signed up again and even then it was hard getting that to work. Why does it keep saying that someone is already using my username or password? It's just me using it. There should be some way to erase my username and password then re-enter them, so I have the original ones that I can remember. Your site doesn't seem user friendly. Difraction redirects to diffraction, suggesting it's either an obsolete or alternative spelling. For an example, see this.
Feel free to locate reliable references to the smoke point of the cooking fats missing from the template, then add the relevant information you located to the template with the source citation. That's how Wikipedia has been created over time.
For technical problems with how Wikipedia works, or fails to work, I'd probably ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Gzuufy (talk) 19:03, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
