Add to articles

There's apparently a HUGE number of articles that need to have this template added to them. I'll put it on my to-do list, but there's a lot of transformers-related articles. WLU 20:07, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Size?

Is it just me, or is this template WAAAAAY too big for what it should be? I suggest cutting it down into sub-templates, based on individual aspects of the TF universe: one template for characters, one for movies, one for comics, etc. I think it's too massive, and a waste of space. I see your point. My advise is there should be an In popular culture article for Transformers basically talking about any media adaption outside of toys. And then when that article is created there can be an template for that article listing all the media adaptions it has. Reorganizing

The purpose of a navigational template, is to group links of related articles to facilitate navigation between those articles. This template has been lacking for awhile, mainly because of characters merged to lists, and articles in the template not having this template on their article.

Therefore, I propose consolidating all the Transformers articles that are Start-class or better into this template. I've already started with the character articles, but there's a lot of work to do. However, to prevent the template from getting too large, I would like to merge the Subgroups section into the Characters section. There's really no need to differentiate articles more than once in the same template, by whether they're Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals, etc. If there are no objections, I will make the changes tomorrow, but I welcome any feedback from interested editors. I mean expanding the Characters section, to include all the character articles that are Start-Class or better. This would improve the navigation function of the template, by having it at the bottom of all those Transformers articles. Fortdj33 (talk) 20:13, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

An "Unproduced" section
