Tennessee's 19th Senate district is one of 33 districts in the Tennessee Senate. It has been represented by Democrat Charlane Oliver since 2018, succeeding fellow Democrat Thelma Harper.[2]

Geography
editDistrict 19 is based in downtown Nashville, covering some or all of North Nashville, Antioch, East Nashville, Madison, and Goodlettsville. The district, located in Davidson County, is the only majority-Black Senate district in the state outside of Memphis.[1][3]
The district is located within Tennessee's 5th, 6th, and 7th congressional districts.[4]
