Hi, this is Anusha Chaitanya. I'm from Vizag (or Visakhapatnam) in Andhra Pradesh on the south eastern coast of the Indian sub-continent.
I find Indian politics very interesting as there's a lot of scope and need for reform here, lots of problems waiting for solutions. I also like to read books (only fiction) though I haven't read too many.
And I like making sketches whenever I can.
Some books I like:-
The IITians by Sandipan Deb
The Alchemist (book) by Paulo Coelho
Veronika Decides to Die, also by Paulo Coelho
The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy
Education and the Significance of Life by J. Krishnamurthi
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Five point someone by Chetan Bhagat
Gone with the wind by Margaret Mitchell (my favourite book)
One Night @ the Call Center, also by Chetan Bhagat
The Hills of Angheri by Kaveri Nambisan
A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon
Skipping Christmas by John Grisham
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
Love Story, also by Erich Segal
Satan Never Sleeps by Pearl S. Buck
Prizes, also by Erich Segal
and the whole Harry Potter series(no one can miss that!!) by J. K. Rowling
I speak English, Hindi and Telugu(my mother tongue). I understand Oriya to an extent. I've not been to any places outside India yet. In India, I've visited some places in the south, some places in the east and south east and a few in the west and north. I enjoy travelling (alone or in groups, either way) a lot. I love the Indian monsoon and winter.
I like to watch movies and listening to music (there's no particular genre I can mention because I just listen to anything that appeals to my ears and usually, I don't know what genre it is). Among sports, if there's anything I can play, its badminton. I play chess some times. I also like solving puzzles.
I find Wikipedia very useful.
