This page is to discuss the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) so that English Wikipedia editors have one Wikipedia page to follow and discuss relevant WMF-related items. The noticeboard is intended to increase the amount of productive collaboration between Wikipedia editors and the WMF. Please notify Maggie Dennis, the Community Liaison for the WMF—either by starting a new section at User talk:Mdennis (WMF) or by emailing to liaisonwikimedia.org—if you think a thread would benefit from WMF input. Discussion threads can include:
- Reasonable requests for WMF action that could improve the satisfaction, productivity and retention of Wikipedians.
- Performance issues that can have definite or potential WMF fixes.
- Servers and software issues.
- WMF priorities, budget, grants, contracts, fundraising, staffing, structure, salaries, and productivity.
- The WMF interpretation of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and its implications.
- Posts of mailing list items or links to discussion at meta, the Village pumps, the Signpost, and other places relevant to WMF activity.
