Art in the Streets is a street art exhibition that debuted at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) in Los Angeles, California, USA in 2011. It is claimed to be the first major exhibition of street art in an American museum, and became the most attended exhibition in MoCA's history.
The exhibit contains graffiti art, murals, and mixed-media pieces from many well-known artists, as well as pieces from "underground" taggers. Artists in the exhibition include: Banksy, Fab 5 Freddy, Adam Cost, Futura 2000, Gordon Matta-Clark, IZ the Wiz, Jean-Michel Basquiat, JR, Keith Haring, Lady Pink, Lee Quinones, Miss Van, Mister Cartoon, Os Gemeos, PHASE 2, Rammellzee, Revs, Shepard Fairey, SJK 171, TAKI 183, Tracy 168, and ZEPHYR.[1]
