Oscars and Academy Awards
editPlease continue with the work of getting that ridiculous singular noun situation removed over at "Academy Awards". The article indeed is focused on the ceremony and not the actual award itself. Seems incredible that the people reverting you back to "Award" are so misguidedly misinterpreting policy. New to Wikipedia, and have just written a new entry about the [Aurora Regional Fire Museum]. Apparently our standard "blurb" text (written by me) has been used by another website (with our permission) and this has caused red flags to come up as a copyright violation.
I am the Curator of the Museum, the original author of this text, and also the museum's webmaster. You will find most of this same text printed on our webstite --

- Thanks for the clarification, but this will still need to be re-written in a more encyclopedic format per WP:STYLE. I will, however, remove the copyvio notice. I will help work on this article when I get a chance, but I'm swamped with other things for the rest of the week. Pringles/Punks and Nerds
editI agree that the Pringles incident should be included in the Punks and Nerds article, however as of right now it's up for deletion and needs to be discussed whether to be kept or not. Rather than spending the time working on a Pringles mention in the article (in case it does get deleted and the time you spent on it is moot), please contribute to the discussion to keeping or deleting the article, whichever you find more appropriate for the article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Joshmirman (talk • contribs) 20:17, 10 December 2006 (UTC).

Re: Just a tip
editI know however in all but one case both SOTU Address and SOTU address already existed and were redirects to the other. I was unable to move those article when I tried so I copied. None of those article had histories of more than a few entries anyway. Can an admin move and overright articles in this instance? --Daysleeper47 21:26, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

- Thanks for telling me. I've tagged the IP's talk page with a "sharedip" template, and administrators should have more leniency before blocking (basically, it will only be done if absolutely necessary, and not for as long). I would recommend registering your own account for editing if you wish to circumvent any further warnings which do not apply to you. --Czj 07:38, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
