I thought it was really interesting being able to go into the talking section of the various articles in order to gain other perspectives people have regarding the topics. For the most part I found the conversations occurring there to be both constructive and/or intellectual. I am currently in a class and studying the Netherlands and their ability to control the Atlantic during their time of dominance, and am beginning to think it might be interesting for me to venture into Rome's ability to control "mare nostrum" or our sea.
I also found it reassuring that most of the sources were good for the articles and some have been updated to include more relevant sources.
I want my topic to be about Rome and their control of the sea. This might include some rivers too, depending on some further evaluation.
