About me

Hello, I'm Penny Gold, born in 1987 in Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. In March 2018, I was admitted as an attorney in the State of New York. In May 2017, I graduated Brooklyn Law School with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree; in 2013, I graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Linguistics (and a minor in Political Science). In 2011, I graduated from Borough of Manhattan Community College with an Associate of Arts (A.A.) Degree in Liberal Arts.

I am a lawyer, with my main focus of practice in family law. I'm also a translator, mostly from and to Hebrew and English, and sometimes Yiddish to and from English as well. I am a qualified Hebrew interpreter for the New York State Unified Court System. I love proofreading, researching (legal and otherwise), and arguing (preferably constructively).
