Goran Nikolić, economist

Goran (Vladimir) Nikolić is a Serbian economist born on October 2, 1974, in Ivanjica, Western Serbia. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade, where he also earned his master's degree. Nikolić later got his Ph.D. with a thesis on the structural adjustment of Serbia's exports to the import demands of the European Union.

Dr. Nikolić has worked at various institutions, including the Institute of Foreign Trade and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. Since 2009, he has been a principal research fellow at the Institute of European Studies.[1]. His research focuses on topics such as the structure of Serbian foreign trade, the dinar exchange rate, balance of payments, and the impact of European integration on trade flows.

Nikolić has participated in some national and international conferences, most notably at the third LSE (London School of Economy) Academic Network Workshop on International Trade hold on September 22nd, 2021[2].

He has published numerous scientific papers, of which the most prominent are:
