My claim to fame:
In 1992 I took over management of the Runequest Digest from Andrew Bell. A couple of months later Jan 1993 I posted a 'mini-digest' with some small pieces and was rewarded with some more comments the very same day. I realised that the interaction stimulated people into posting, but I did not want this to turn into a flame-war infested mailing list. Instead I decided to automate things and the Runequest Daily was born. By delaying posts, I encouraged people to take their time reading and thinking before responding. Or so I thought.
The formula worked out ok. I later handed over the daily to Loren Miller, who split the forum in two: one list/digest for RuneQuest, one for Glorantha.
