help me please
editIt is so long since I have been here, I am a bit lost. What I want to do is borrow one or two photographs from Wikpedia for a book I am currently working and I am not sure how I contact the relevant member. I am not even sure if I am writing this on the correct page. Hope someone picks this is up and gives me a little guidance, please.

New to wikipedia
editHi, as of today, 15th. October 2009. I have been an editor with Wikipedia for a week, I have started five articles of my own and helped extend a couple of other items.
I have worked in journalism then in the financial services all my life but now, because of disability, I am retired. In my retirement I have turned to my original profession and added to it by qualifying as a writer. I find writing articles on my favourite subject, Scottish Social History is much more rewarding than journalism. So far after two years, I have been lucky enough to have had more than forty articles published. Joining Wikipedia is really an extension of that though I find, so far, Wikipedia is a much more complex undertaking than simply writing. During an article, I can use a bit of 'writer's license' and a touch of supposition but that is not the case at Wikipedia. From 2010, I put my toes into writing books, not for profit, simply for the love of it. To date, I have written five books, a couple of them doing very well and am currently working on my sixth though I have yet another one nearly finished but sitting 'on the shelf' for the time being. This is a wonderful project, one of the best on the internet and I am thoroughly enjoying my new learning curve. I also contribute to another wonderful project - Geograph. I am an avid football fan and my favourite team is Clyde Football Club who play at broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire.
I must say a huge THANK YOU to SpaceFlight89 for a great and courteous welcome to Wikepedia, I really appreciate it, thanks again.
