A Regional People's Representative Council (Indonesian: Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah, abbreviated DPRD) refers to an elected assembly within one of Indonesia's administrative subdivisions. The body exists for all Indonesian provinces and second-level administrative divisions outside Jakarta's constituent cities and regencies.
The body is based on the Constitution of Indonesia, which mandated the creation of such a body for local governance.
