Fair enough, but that begs the question as to why you though that this edit would be acceptable in the first place. To me, it looks as though your account has been compromised. Hersfold (t/a/c) 12:34 am, 8 October 2012, Monday (30 days ago) (UTC−4)
- I agree that an indef block for a single indiscretion looks like overkill. However, Hersfold raises a valid point, above; when a previously innocuous account suddenly starts acting like a vandal, alarm bells start ringing. Can you please confirm that you did make the edits to United States and DB Class E 320 and that it wasn't someone else using your account? Yunshui 雲水 10:08, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
- I don't see any problem in waiting for him to confirm that he made the edit; however, I'm not as convinced that the account may have been compromised. The vandalism only account block was presumably made based on edits outside of the one to the United States. The admin who blocked him as a vandalism only account had previously improperly used rollback on a good faith edit [1]. Kevin had a few other edits that were undone, but all were in good faith. I'm more inclined to believe that he was just testing the waters with his edit to United States. Are there any deleted edits? Ryan Vesey 12:38 pm, 8 October 2012, Monday (29 days ago) (UTC−4)
- Yes there are. The account created a nonsense article on 7 October 2012, and then proceeded to make several vandalism edits to it. While it is not realistic to describe the whole editing history of this account as "vandalism only", its recent editing history is vandalism only. It looks to me very much like a compromised account, and if it isn't then we need some explanation as to why the user has suddenly started vandalising. While the reason given in the block log was not really accurate, I do think that an indefinite block was reasonable, and should stay unless and until the user gives a satisfactory explanation. JamesBWatson (talk) 2:31 pm, 8 October 2012, Monday (29 days ago) (UTC−4)
- I was reviewing this block at the same time Hersfold made this decline. Perhaps "vandalism only account" was a slight overstatement, but it is not going to be productive to get caught up on that point. the more important concern is why a user would suddenly begin vandalizing and creating inappropriate pages. Unless and until that matter is clarified can't see any benefit in unblocking. Now would be a good time to start being honest about what happened here. Beeblebrox (talk) 8:05 pm, 8 October 2012, Monday (29 days ago) (UTC−4)

Warning User:InternetMeme
editHi Kevin. I noticed the warning you placed on InternetMeme's talkpage - I fail to see how this username could be seen as misleading and have therefore advised them to remove it. After your recent block, your edits are liable to be under close scrutiny for a while; I would therefore politely suggest that you restrict yourself to making uncontraversial edits to articles for a bit, and avoid antagonising other users. Yunshui 雲水 08:57, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
- Hi there Kevin. I'm sorry, I might have misunderstood your edits. I've had a couple of minor conflicts with a couple of other users in the past, and when I saw your comment, I jumped to conclusions. No hard feelings : ) I'm curious to know though, what was the line of thinking that led you to make that comment on my talk page initially? Also, how did you come across my username in the first place? See you around : )

Thanks Yunshui.
editI realize the warning I placed on InternetMeme's talkpage was highly unneccesary. Thank you for reminding me. Kevin12xd (talk) 23:13, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
Your recent edits
editHi Kevin. Thank you for the barnstar. I appreciate that it can be difficult getting to grips with Wikipedia in the beginning; there are many policies and guidelines governing the project and it's easy to fall foul of them without realising. However, the majority of your recent edits have been somewhat disruptive to one extent or another, and given the previous sanctions against you could be considered very unwise. Some examples:
- You've proposed deletion of Roman Catholic Diocese of Villa de la Concepción del Río Cuarto and 9706 Bouma, but you've given no reason why either article should be deleted - proposed deletion tags require a reason for deletion. You also failed to notify the original creators of the articles - whilst not mandatory, this is considered polite. I've done it for you in this instance.
- You've placed malformed
stub
tags on a couple of articles (Hyloscirtus pantostictus, John Sandys) - for reference, there's a complete list of available stub tages at this page, which you can copy and paste. Remember that you can always use the "Show preview" button at the bottom of the edit window to see how a page will look after your revisions - if you've put a malformed template on the page, you'll be able to see it and correct it before saving. - I don't know what possessed you to offer a barnstar to the article Thraciidae, but thank you for reverting it.
- At Talk:Roblox, you refactored another user's comments by removing a couple of mild obscenities - whilst you no doubt had commendable aims, this is strongly frowned upon. Don't edit other users' comments unless they are very blatant vandalism - swearing in an otherwise meaningful comment doesn't count. If the IP in question was you editing while logged out and you were refactoring your own words, that's okay; to be on the safe side, though, I've reverted to the previous version.
- The cleanup tags you posted at Democratic Party (Cambodia) and List of shipwrecks in 1944 were both rather inappropriate - redlinks are generally considered perfectly acceptable in an article, and I fail to see how the shipwrecks article is "ridiculously inconvenient".
What I'm seeing here is an editor who is trying to do a good job, but isn't sufficiently aware of the appropriate way in which to do it. As a proposed solution, I'd suggest you consider enrolling in the adopt-a-user project. This project pairs newer users with experienced editors, so that they can learn how Wikipedia works and how best to contribute. An official invite is below. Best of luck, Yunshui 雲水 07:17, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:38, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

On another note, can you change your signature in your preferences from KazLabz to KazLabz or something similar? Our signature policy requires that your signature points to your user page, talk page, or both. Ryan Vesey 23:25, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the

Lorem Ipsum
editI added the following response to your question over at Wikipedia talk:Picture tutorial#Lorem Ipsum. I'm not sure why the attribution "KazLabz" was added to your question, but I assumed you'd want the response at your actual user page instead.
- (For the edification of the group...) It isn't "spammed" with Lorem Ipsum, that text is used in the typical manner — as a placeholder when illustrating layout issues. (That's why it's presented in a different color than the article text.) In the case of this article, specifically, it's used to demonstrate how text will flow around images differently based on the parameters supplied to the
File
markup. - Or, as the article itself puts it...
Here is the same example again, this time in the context of some colored lorem ipsum dummy text with asterisks (*) showing where the image syntax appears in the text:
- Hope this helps make the intent clearer.

Adoption and your question on my talkpage
editHi Kevin. To answer the easy question first, you joined Wikipedia (or at least made your first edit here) at 1:48 on September 13th 2012. You can get this information by checking your contribution history (there's a permenent link to this in the top right of your screen) or by using the Toolserver's edit counter (accessible via a link at the very bottom of your contributions page). The latter also gives you a useful breakdown of your edit history; I can see, for example, that slightly over half of your 175 edits have been to your user page.
As to adoption, I reckon I can take you on board. You're very enthusiastic - which is great - but that enthusiasm needs channelling correctly to avoid treading on any toes here. To that end, I'll try to spend some time today creating a series of tasks for you to work through, to hopefully help you get a handle on basic Wikipedia processes. Before I start, is there any area in particular that you think you'd like to focus on first? I see you're using the Random article button to find things that need fixing, which is a good start; we can begin by working around that if you'd like.
One task which needs attending to before anything else is your talkpage signature. There's nothing wrong with having a signature that doesn't reflect your username - lots of editors do - but your sig must contain a link to your user page or talkpage, as a bare minimum (both are preferred). To fix this, do the following:
- Go to the "My preferences" menu in the top right of your screen.
- Under "Signature", replace the content of the box with (for the sake of argument) this text string:
KazLabz (talk)
- Check the box underneath that says "Treat the above as wiki markup"
- Save changes.
Your signature will now display as this: KazLabz (talk), with links to both your user page and talkpage. What we've created here is a pair of piped links; that is to say, wikilinks which display different text to that of their target pages. If you wish to change your signature, you can change the text "KazLabz" to whatever you want your name to appear as, and change the text "talk" to "leave a message" or some other indication that it links to your talkpage. As long as the text before the | remains unchanged, the signature will continue to link to your user pages.
I look forward to working with you, and hope that I can help you become the best Wikipedia editor you can be. All the best, Yunshui 雲水 07:14, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
- I've started an adoption page for you here; I will try and update it regularly with new material. Yunshui 雲水 07:44, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
- I should also add - adoption doesn't mean that you can't carry on editing whatever pages you want. The adoption tasks I'll be setting you don't have to be your only contribution to Wikipedia; they're designed to make you a better editor but there's no point in that if you don't use your editing skills elsewhere! If you find an article you want to edit or a problem that needs fixing, you don't have to wait for me to ask you to do it. My only request is that if you are at all unsure - if you think that the changes you want to make may annoy somebody, or if they get reverted after you've made them - please come to me and ask for help rather then getting embroiled in a dispute. Happy editing! Yunshui 雲水 07:48, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Vandalism patrolling
editHi Kevin. I have absolutely no problem with you taking some time out of adoption to do some anti-vandalism work - the popularity and free editing model of Wikipedia draws trolls and vandals like a municipal dump attracts seagulls, so such work is always necessary. However, I can see from looking over your edits that you've already run into a few issues doing this, so let's address those now before any major problems arise and then you can get on with cleaning up after their "hilarious" antics.
The Counter-vandalism unit has a good model for dealing with vandals, called IRWR - Identify, Revert, Warn, Report. I'd suggest you work towards following this model as closely as possible, which should keep you from making too many mistakes.
- Identify It's really important to make sure that what you are fixing is genuinely vandalism. Vandalism is "a deliberate attempt to damage the integrity of the encyclopedia". This edit, for example, was blatant vandalism, and you were absolutely correct to undo it. However, this edit was equally obviously an attempt to clean up the article - Qworty even linked to the relevant policy in his edit summary. There's no way in hell he was vandalising the article. If you are in any doubt whatsoever as to whether an edit is vandalism or not, leave it alone. If it is vandalism, someone else will catch it sooner or later.
- Revert You seem to have got the hang of the undo button, which is good. Be aware, though, that you may need to go back further in the article's history than just one edit - if the vandal has made several consecutive edits, you will need to deal with all of them. It's also a good idea to leave an edit summary explaining why you reverted - "removed vandalism", "reverted unexplained blanking", "undid good-faith edit" and so on.
- Warn Warning vandals is important, as it often discourages the behaviour. However, it's usually a good idea to leave a templated message rather than composing one yourself. This message is not really appropriate ("you have been caught in the act" makes it sound as though you're some sort of cyber-policeman, there are no links to policies which might be useful to the user, no suggestions of how to proceed and no indications of possible consequences should the behaviour continue). We have, as you've discovered, a series of graded warning templates which are designed specifically to deal with vandals. You should leave whichever is most appropriate: a

if they've never been warned before, a
if they already have two warnings, and so on. - Report If you find a repeat offender who is already on their fourth warning, don't bother leaving them a message. Instead, report them to Administrator intervention against vandalism (instructions on filing a report are on that page). This is usually a quicker way to deal with the problem than asking for help from individual admins, since a lot of administrators keep an eye out for reports there.
I've written an essay which expands a bit on the points above here, you might want to have a read of it - I'd also give some consideration to finishing the adoption tasks at User:Yunshui/Adoption/Kevin12xd/Vandals before you carry on fighting the good fight. Most importantly, just don't revert anything you're unsure of!
One other (informal) guide that might be worth mentioning is that regular editors are rarely vandals ("Don't template the regulars") - if you come across edits by someone like Qworty or TheFarix, who have tens of thousands of edits to their names and talkpage histories that go back four or five years, think twice before telling them, "you made a mistake, but I fixed it." The chances are strong that it wasn't a mistake... You do seem to have gone back and apologised when they complained, which is good, but "better an ounce of prevention than a pound of cure", as they say - it would be prefereable not to have anything to apologise for.
Take it slowly, and ask me for help if you need it. Yunshui 雲水 07:34, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi Yunshui; Thanks for letting me know the above. Your information will be put to good use! I am going to talk your advice and tone down the vandalism-fighting until I complete some more of my adoption assignments. Thanks!

Undoing of my X factor removals totally unfounded
editIn response to undoing my entry @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:I%27d_Rather_Go_Blind
As a student of musicology, I feel X factor covers of pieces do not accurately represent music in place or time. They are accurate representations of the show itself, but not the music that is performed, which are normally standards taken from the British/American songbooks. Rather, the article of the song should discuss the musical or extra-musical implications of the realised, recorded and released versions of the song. There's nothing remotely interesting or even relevant about a certain candidate in a talent show covering a certain song, it is totally unnecessary in a encyclopaedic report of information. This is particularly offensive considering the paramount importance of 'I'd Rather Go Blind' as a song.
Additional to my argument, I'd like to suggest that if we acknowledged every cover a singer on these talent shows had done we'd have this data clogging up song articles in abundance. On average these entries have about 27, meaningless words acknowledging the cover, there have been 8 series of X Factor UK, 7 series of American Idol, 2 series of X factor USA, 2 series of the voice USA, and countless more from shows like the voice of Holland, pop idol, etc. Anyway, going on those examples alone, that's 19 series, with an average of 12 finalists on each, singing for about 10 weeks. Meaning we would have thousands of these annoying little lines of 'this unsuccessful candidate sang this song in week x', clogging up the articles. All of these combined would also be around 8x bigger than the singers' short subentries on the site, which is obviously superfluous. This does not derive from any sort of contempt for these shows, (in fact, I enjoy both X factor and American idol), but it stems from a belief that Wikipedia and music articles deserve to be sophisticated and relevant.
Removing my entry without any intellectual discussion as to why it 'wasn't constructive' is also incredibly obnoxious. If you wish to re-do my work for me then I'd appreciate it, if you disagree with what I've stated then your judgement is certainly misguided.
P.S: The Zelda series died during with the release of 'Twilight Princess', how you can acknowledge it as one of your favourite games is mind boggling; it's a horrendous bastardisation of a once brilliant game series. Skyward sword was the true destruction of the series with its crash bandicoot like character design and the cerebral bore of its gameplay, story and side-quests. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.51.75.72 (talk) 22:59, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

- Hi ResonX;
Clearly you have not read my short article about editing my Talkpage. Please type in a civilized manner.
Anyway, let's get back on topic. The main problem is that there is a specific way of defining popular on Wikipedia. I would suggest you take a look at WP:NOT. Next time, please use a more appropriate heading and tone. Thank you.
- by Kevin12cd... Tell me how I'm doing on my Talkpage!
I see nothing about popularity there. But, the bottom line is that the PRIMARY measurement of notability is how many people know about and like something. That cannot be argued. ResonX (talk) 01:06, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- ResonX, I'll have to be honest. You make good arguments. But there is a loophole. On Wikipedia, we don't really have a unit to define how many people like or know about something to get an article. You'll have to reach a consensus if you're a little fuzzy about it. I'm going to leave you with that for now. Perhaps moving the article from your Userpage to a full article would make a difference.

Hello there? ResonX (talk) 02:32, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) ResonX, as has already been explained to you, blogs, fansites, wikis, forums and other user-generated content are not suitable sources for Wikipedia. If you disagree with this policy, then by all means open a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Identifying reliable sources and see if you can persuade the community to accept such sources. However, as I've just explained here, the sources you've provided do not meet the current requirements, and as such, your present version is unlikely to be moved to mainspace. Twinkle
editHi Kevin. I see you've enabled Twinkle on your account - which is fine, but I'd just like to reiterate my previous suggestion that you exercise extreme caution in its use. In perfect frankness, you have yet to convince me that you can perform anti-vandalism tasks with an acceptable level of accuracy (you've made some good calls in the past, true, but you've also ruffled some feathers by making errors). Twinkle makes patrolling and reverting vandalism quicker and easier, but by the same token it also makes it quicker and easier to make mistakes, so great care is called for. This isn't intended to discourage you, and I apologise if that's the effect, but I've seen numerous well-meaning editors blocked for over-enthusiastic Twinkling, and I would hate to have to dig you out from under another block. You've made good progress, and I'm looking forward to seeing it continue blocklessly!
If you need any help with the tool, please ask - it's what I'm here for. And don't forget to finish off the tasks at User:Yunshui/Adoption/Kevin12xd/Vandals - you should find it easy to do them now you have Twinkle on your side. Yunshui 雲水 08:19, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
(I should add - testing it in your own userspace, as you did, is a very good idea. I wish more new Twinkle users did that! You might want to create a sandbox page for yourself - something like User:Kevin12xd/Twinkle sandbox so that you can try out more of the functions without causing too much disruption to this page) Yunshui 雲水 08:25, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
Nomination of User:Kevin12xd/Twinkle sandbox for deletion
editA discussion is taking place as to whether the article User:Kevin12xd/Twinkle sandbox is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/User:Kevin12xd/Twinkle sandbox until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. - by Kevin12cd... Tell me how I'm doing on my Talkpage! 22:23, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
Igloo
editHi Kevin. A quick note regarding Igloo - you won't be able to use it at present. Nothing to do with userrights or anything, it's just that the external server that supports it is currently down (and has been for a few months now). I'm hoping that it comes back on line soon, since it's a very useful tool (and, like Twinkle, dangerous if used incautiously - I myself made a number of incorrect reverts when I first started using it). Yunshui 雲水 07:58, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of I Dream of Mimi
editOne other thing - remember when I suggested extreme caution when using Twinkle? Be wary of incorrect CSD tagging, now that it's so much easier for you - as a rule of thumb, if an article has four or five references (even if they're in another language) it's extremely unlikely to be a candidate for A7. The presence of sources suggests (even if it doesn't confirm) notability, and a suggestion is all that's needed to escape A7 deletion. The PROD at General Walker Hotel is fairly sound - I don't think it would be too hard to find addtional sources, though; maybe you'd like to have a go at improving that article (or at least sourcing it)? Yunshui 雲水 08:06, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
I've noticed that you created Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/User:Kevin12xd/Twinkle sandbox and listed that discussion in the log page Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2012 November 6, apparently while testing how to use Twinkle. While testing things is fine, please try not to leave test pages outside your user space. Could you please nominate that discussion page for deletion under speedy deletion criterion G2 or G7, and unlist it from the deletion discussion log? In case it isn't clear, I'm not suggesting that User:Kevin12xd/Twinkle sandbox be deleted (it is fine to keep around since it is in your user space). Calathan (talk) 21:22, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

Quick review of your recent edits
editHi Kevin. I just realised I haven't been in touch for a bit, so thought I'd drop by and leave you a message (especially since I've just removed one of your tags - Flying High Together isn't a biography, so the sourcing requiremnts for BLPs don't apply). Your editing seems to be coming on well; you're showing a degree of caution and making some good judgment calls, and you're catching plenty of vandalism (which I believe is one of your main goals on Wikipedia - nice when someone succeeds in their aims!). I see you're back on Twinkle again (addictive, isn't it?); you appear to be using it perfectly correctly, no problems there.
I'm a bit wary of your move of Ster Kinekor - it's hyphenated throughout the page and on the official website, and I can't see anywhere in the article that there's a claim to the contrary. It might have been a better idea to start a talkpage discussion to see if other users agreed, rather than moving the page unilaterally. (I'm happy to see, though, that you executed the technical aspects of the page move perfectly!) If, after double-checking, you want me to move it back again (you won't be able to do it yourself because of the redirect), just ask.
This was a good AIV report (your first, I think?) and resulted in a month-long block for the IP, good call.
You've placed a couple of PROD tags which have subsequently been removed; although the removals were valid your tagging was just as correct (and The Mineola Twins has been much improved in direct response to your PROD, which is great).
The only thing you've done recently which I genuinely disapprove of is this bit of gravedancing - generally it's best to leave indefblocked users alone. Any admin addressing an unblock request is quite capable of assessing the editing history without your help; if I were you, I'd self-revert that edit.
Finally, thank you very much indeed for the nomination at Wikipedia:Merchandise giveaways, what a kind thing to do! I had no idea that initiative even existed. All in all, I'm proud to have you as an adoptee - and very glad I unblocked you in the first place. You've made fantastic progress, keep it up! Yunshui 雲水 11:44, 29 November 2012 (UTC)

- O.K. I just don't like to report everything, its kind off hard for me. I already talked about it with Ryan Vesey on his talkpage, that I do those edits because I don't see the point behind

I'm sorry, I've just gotten sick of people not following Wikirules. Please respect that on Wikipedia, we keep the titles on tables, so that the table's contents are justified.
by Kevin12cd Talk to me This was posted at 01:09, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Sigh, to you as well, I read your talkpage now... I think it should be me who should tell what to follow and what not, considering your previous experience... And I personaly got sick of people who critisize me and revert stuff without mentioning it to the user first! And who are we? I and user Stemonitis are in the same dispute, he says its O.K. to do it with another edit. Have a problem with that? Talk to him, not me! Again go to User talk:Ryan Vesey and complain there about it! O' and another thing, the content is justified even without it, since the species name from the bottom is also visible on the top. Any questions? Sorry if I might got a bit personal in a discussion, just rough day overall. You know, having two disputes at the same time, is very stressful... Forgot to mention, doing reverts if there is no vandalism is pointless, I thought you knew that, if not, can I help you to understand that?
Instead of judging my edits why not do it yourself. Ask this person for a permission to use an image for instance.--Mishae (talk) 01:19, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Side note, edits like this shouldn't be used because regular contributors should not be templated. Further actions like this may see you lose the privilege to use Twinkle. OhanaUnitedTalk page 05:42, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for backing me up, I am new to this side of project so I don't know better. User Stemonitis templated my page several times before and never was warned!
- Question though, I don't want to be blocked, what should I do to resolve this conflict?
- Now, question to Kevin: You know what happens with people who follow every single rule on this project? No? They sleep bad, they worry too much, they don't work well in Wikipedia or in real life because of it... If it sounds personal or a threat, I am apologizing since I only wanted to get some philosofical fact across.---Mishae (talk) 06:11, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- I think you didn't read the bottom line: I will ouline it for you, "I am apologizing since I only wanted to get some philosofical fact across", which means, I kind off knew what I wanted to say, but sometimes I get confused, since I think in Russian, because I am from there... Its hard to think in another language, I hope you knoe that... Again, please except my apologies, but don't go to my talkpage like that every time, its scared me!--Mishae (talk) 23:52, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
Overzealousness
editHi Kevin. I'm just popping up here because I noticed your recent spat with Mishae, above, and recognise a pattern I've seen before. It's very common for (comparatively) new users such as yourself to be very enthusiastic about the rigid implementation of Wikipedia's many rules and regulations - after all, we have policies and guidelines for a good reason, right? It's worth noting, however, that one of those policies (indeed, one of Wikipedia's most fundamental tenets) is that rules should be ignored. At its kernel, this site is an encylopedia - anything that makes the encyclopedia better is, by definition, good, whether it follows the rules or not. Opinion may differ (in fact, it nearly always does!) on whether something actually improves the encyclopedia or not, but fundamentally, we're here to build a reference work, not follow a set of rules. The rules exist to help us work together to create Wikipedia; they are tools to promote collaborative editing, not sticks with which to whack the wrongdoers.
The reason I'm a little concerned is that sometimes, when newer editors try to apply policies to the best of their understanding, they make mistakes. If they learn from those mistakes, they generally develop into excellent editors. A good example in the last year or so would be Yasht101/TheSpecialUser, who ruffled a number of feathers early on in his editing career but settled down to become a solid content contributor. However, if the zealous rightiousness of the new anti-vandal crusader gets out of hand, it can go horribly wrong - take User:Jeffwang, for instance, who did a lot of good anti-vandal work but in the end had to be blocked for his inability to work with the community (see the list of rules imposed on his talkage at this old revison, which is quite reminiscient of some of your own postings). I don't want to see that happen to you.
All I'm basically saying is: take a moment to remind yourself that a) not everyone is a vandal, b) we're all in this together and c) many (most!) of the editors you'll come across here already know the rules. Take care, and don't foget you can always drop me a line if you need help with anything. Yunshui 雲水 08:58, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- THANK YOU, Yunshui for steping in, that exactly what I wanted to say, but was afraid of saying it. Take for example user Stemonitis and his accomplice (if I can call her that) PamD. I used to get in a lot of hot water with them, ending up with personal attacks from my part... Now though, I am discussing everything on Ryan Vesey's talkpage, where I will suggest Kevin to go to. My problem is that I am Russian, and therefore I think as one. I joined Wikipedia because of my disability and thought to make project better and to write a hefty amount of articles, for which I even got an award for... Now, came the time when I decided to help the project by editing something (like adding, or removing something that should or shouldn't be there), and thats when the problems started... If you want to know more, read my talkpage...--Mishae (talk) 00:15, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
I removed your PROD tag since you didn't give a valid policy based deletion reason for it. I also thought it was notable and shouldn't be deleted. Legoktm (talk) 01:57, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Teahouse hosting
editHi Kevin. I've removed your listing as a host at the Teahouse - whilst your enthusiasm is appreciated, Teahouse hosts need a wide-ranging and in-depth understanding of Wikipedia in order to answer the (often pretty arcane!) questions there. In my judgement, you don't yet have the level of experience that would enable you to work effectively as a host; give it another six months or so. Yunshui 雲水 08:12, 7 December 2012 (UTC) PS.
