This is my user (talk) page. Please DO NOT modify the following unless you get my permission.

Wikipedia is not your web host.

WP:WEBHOST - "Your user page is not a personal homepage, nor is it a blog. More importantly, your user page is not yours. It is a part of Wikipedia, and exists to make collaboration among Wikipedians easier, not for self-promotion. See User page help for current consensus guidelines on user pages."

I continue to be concerned about your use of Wikipedia and the creation of numerous subpages for your personal use. To date, you've made only two edits to articles. You need to show some efforts to work on the encyclopedia, not just your own little corner of it. If you don't start to show some improvement, I'm going to have to start putting some of your many, many subpages up for deletion. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 05:08, 27 August 2010 (UTC) --  read

No problem! From now on, I will start editing productively. -- LS C HIST (talk) 05:34, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Role Accounts

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, LS C HIST, may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it respresents a group of people. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may file for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you.

In addition to your absolute insistence on using your talk page in defiance of SOP and wikipedia guidelines, the very purpose of your account violates Wikipedia policy. You need to retire this one and create accounts for individual members. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 02:14, 26 August 2010 (UTC) --  read

Actually the account "LS C HIST" only represents one person, and that is me. When I handle my things, I will usually divide them into different "directories" (or I should say "folders"), and I am just doing the same on Wikipedia. Please note that the account "DATABASE - Computer Owner" is only used when I am using a public computer. Moreover, I have told you that the guidelines were set up because I wanted this page to be cleaner, and I am totally not interested in defying the guidelines set up by Wikipedia (you can see that I tell other users to follow all the rules set up by Wikipedia). Anyway, thank you for informing me about this. -- LS C HIST (talk) 03:25, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
That is not at clear from the text of your user page, which seems to indicate that it's in use by several people. However, I accept your explanation here. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 05:45, 26 August 2010 (UTC) --  read
Thank you vey much. I will try to correct the information on my user page to make it less misleading. If I make some mistakes again in the future, please let me know. -- LS C HIST (talk) 06:29, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
I have made some ammendments on my user page. Please take a look to see whether it is better now. Thanks. Just for your information, let me tell you something about my directories. Firstly, the directory "Homework & Lessons" is used to store documents, which are mostly homework (as you may know I am a secondary student). At the same time, I place things about my interests in the directory "Interest". Moreover, all the things related to my school life are put into the directory "School". Last but not least, I have a whole bunch of travelling records in the directory "Travel". -- LS C HIST (talk) 07:02, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
The use of multiple accounts is strictly regulated, and the reasons you've outlined don't seem to qualify. Also note that WP is not a webhost and your personal work not related to editing the encyclopedia does not belong here. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 07:05, 26 August 2010 (UTC) --  read
Firstly, I have told you that I use that account only when I am using a public computer (for example, at school), so the risk of having my main account hacked will be lower. Secondly, I need to search for a lot of relevant information on Wikipedia when I am doing my personal work. -- LS C HIST (talk) 07:06, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
Your explanations are still not very clear, as it appears that you are claiming several different IDs (one for each "directory"). Also you need to clearly state on each user page the connection between them and the reason for having multiple accounts. Read WP:MULTIPLE, WP:Multiple Accounts and WP:SOCK#NOTIFY for more information. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 08:15, 26 August 2010 (UTC) --  read
Actually only LS C HIST and DATABASE - Computer Owner are active. Now it is clearly stated here that DATABASE - Computer Owner is my alternate account. -- LS C HIST (talk) 08:53, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Boxes

User boxes belong on your user page, not your talk page. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 09:28, 24 August 2010 (UTC) --  read

Thank you for giving me advice again! Yet, is it not allowed to post userboxes on both pages? -- LS C HIST (talk) 11:56, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

A Comment

You do realize that it's standard across WP that new messages go at the bottom of the page, aren't you? You're peculiar wishes aren't likely to be followed by most, and definitely won't be if the New section tab is used. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 02:59, 24 August 2010 (UTC) --  read

Thank you very much for your comment! In fact, I just hope that new messages can be seen more easily if they are posted on top of old messages. If I see new messages being posted at the bottom of the page, I am just going to place them back onto the top. -- LS C HIST (talk) 03:28, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Good luck with that. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 03:41, 24 August 2010 (UTC) --  read
Thank you! -- LS C HIST (talk) 03:49, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
