Aimee (born December 11, 2001),[3][4] known professionally as Aimsey,[b] is a Welsh[5] Twitch streamer, TikToker and YouTuber best known for their gaming commentary and various collaborations with other content creators.[4] Aimsey has also been involved in the Dream SMP and MC Championship.[6] They are currently a member of Misfits Gaming.[7]
As of November 2024, Aimsey has over 600 thousand subscribers on YouTube, 1 million followers on Twitch and over 3 million followers on TikTok.[a]

edit2019–2020: Beginnings
editAimsey's YouTube channel was created in 2017. They began streaming on Twitch in 2019 originally labelled under 'toadallyaimee'. The channel was rebranded to 'aimsey' in 2020 after they based it off of their real life nickname.[4][8][9]
They uploaded their first TikTok video in September 2020, when they were playing Among Us.[9]
2021–present: Continued growth & Twitch partnership
editIn 2021, Aimsey became a Twitch partner.[9]
On March 16, 2022, they joined the Dream SMP and briefly participated until November 13, 2022.[6] On April 25, 2022, Aimsey won LGBTQ Streamer of the Year from the 2022 Gayming Awards.[10][11]
Aimsey played in 6 MC Championship matches, and winning 2 of them, MC Championship 32 on the Red Rabbits team[12] and MCC Pride 24 on the Cyan Coyotes team.[12]
Aimsey attended VidCon in 2024 as one of the featured creators.[13]
Philanthropy
editIn June 2022, Aimsey participated in a Minecraft charity tournament held by MC Championship called MCC Pride with several other online creators. The event managed to raise over $145,000 for The Trevor Project.[14][15]
Misfits Gaming
editIn February 2022, Aimsey joined Misfits Gaming as part of its creator program, launching a podcast with a new funding.[16]
Personal life
editAimee was born on December 11, 2001 in Wales.[3] They were a child actor, playing roles in Torchwood: Children of Earth and Casualty.[4][17] Aimsey goes by any pronouns and is a lesbian.[5] Aimsey has also confirmed that they have ADHD.[18]
On January 1, 2023, Aimsey announced they were dating streamer and artist Guqqie.[1] As of 2022, they are currently based in Brighton.[9]
