Stéphane Meer, born October 5 1961 in Paris, is a french music composer. He wrote the score of several TV series, and feature films like : Pondichéry, dernier comptoir des Indes[1], L'ami du jardin[2], Too Pure, Tristan et Iseult[3].

Biography

He first plays the guitar and the piano, and later the drums and the violin. He studies classical, contemporary and jazz harmony; then starts working for animation in 1986 with Bruno Gaumetou[4]. His soundtracks in the US are for the feature films : Too Pure and Lazy man's zen.

After several albums as a music producer : L'Aventurier[5] Indochine and the album Sentiment Clou for EMI, he chooses to go back to the job of music composer and works for numerous animation series like :Lupo Alberto[6], Sos bout du monde[7], The last reservation[8], Shtoing Circus, Four eyes[9], etc.

He is asked to write orchestral pieces for the Cherbourg sea city park[10] : On a marché sous la mer, and The battle of Normandie for the Caen memorial museum[11], before the George W Bush official visit.

Release of the songs from the France 2 Vice-Versa[12] series in 2005. Works for the Magic Music Disney[13] project.

In 2010, Stephane Meer conducts the BPO[14] for the recording of Mark Logan[15], the animation feature film.
