Who am I?
editHi, I'm Poet Ron (Ronald J Chapman), and I live in the state Pennsylvania, USA.
When did I begin to write?
editI began to paint with words—write poetry--after recovering from surgery. My physicians suggested that I should exercise both my mind and body. I then took up the hobbies of walking, photography, and writing.
Where do I want to live?
editI want to live in a world where anyplace can be reached in just hours. Where everyone would rather party than, fight.
How did I find Korea?
editBy Fate's hand. I found Korea on an early June morning in 2012. The only things I had known about Korea before this time was learned from the old TV show and movie MASH. I'm addicted to everything Korean.
I think writing poetry is like life. Like life. Some poems are happy, Like life. Some poems are sad, Like life. Some poems are bad, Like life. Some poems are silly, Like life. Some poems make you laugh, Like life. Some poems make you learn, Like life. Some poems make you cry, Like life. Some poems are too short, Like life. Some poems make you think, Like life. Some poems make you dream.
My poetry will end on the day I cry goodbye to my dreams of Korea.
Favorite Quotes
editThese quotations remind me of the city of Seoul, Korea. The Miracle on the Han River[1].
"The Universe is big, It's vast and complicated and ridiculous. And sometimes--very rarely--impossible things just happen, and we call them miracles. And that's the theory. 900 years, never seen one yet. But this would do me."[2]
"Is it possible to miss a place you've never been? To mourn a time you never lived?" Jack Harper, Oblivion (2013)[3]
