Indian Broiler Group, which is also known as IB Group is an Indian multimillion-dollar multinational food products company headquartered in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh.[1]
The group is involved in feed mills, hatcheries, broiler farming, and processing plants. IB group is a conglomerate of companies operating in different business verticals. With a group turnover of approximately INR 8000 Crore, the group today has expanded in various fields, from poultry, FMCG, dairy, solvent, livestock feed, pet food, hospitality, and much more. The Poultry and Soyabean business, which forms the heart of IB Group has adopted backward and forward integration successfully.
History

editTwo brothers Mr. Sultan Ali and Mr. Bahadur Ali are the founders of the IB group. The brothers belong to Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. Their parents were Lt. Mr. Abdul Aziz and Lt. Zohra Bano.
In 1985 the brothers started the business with a small poultry farm with only 100 chicks. In 1999 they started their first feed production unit in Indamara Rajnandgaon.
Contract Farming
editIn this concept of contract farming, poultry farmers raise chickens with IB Group. IB Group provides the farmers with chicks, their feed, and technical support to run the farm, and monitor the health of chicks. The farmer should have a poultry shed and manage it functionally. So poultry farmers are able to earn a regular and secured income with IB Group.
Parivartan & Parivartan GEN NXT
editParivartan and Parivartan GEN NXT are flagship programs launched by IB Group to empower Indian poultry farmers. In These schemes, the company provides financial and technical support to poultry entrepreneurs and also provide subsidies for starting their farm. Parivartan GEN NXT is an investment scheme worth rupees 200 crores that targets to generate 25000 direct jobs and more indirect jobs in the next three years.

Poultry - The poultry segment of Abis Exports operates in broiler industry. They also produce layer chicken, cockrel, hatchable eggs, and commercial eggs.
