Crepe Runner ^[1] is a three times national award-winning Sri Lankan fast-food restaurant chain that specializes in crepes, both sweet and savory. The menu ^[2] includes a variety of toppings and accompaniments such as in-house chocolate spread, loaded chips with spicy meat or melted cheese, and house beverages like milkshakes, mojitos, and hot chocolate. The outlets also serve Sri Lankan ^[3] coffee to support local coffee-growing communities and their livelihoods.

Crepe Runner was founded in Colombo in 2019 ^[3] by Sri Lankan entrepreneurs Abdus Salaam, Abdus Samad, and Mohamed Suhail, with support from friends and family. The chain currently operates ^[4] over 10 outlets in Sri Lanka and has expanded internationally to the Maldives. The company aims to continue its expansion to new markets ^[5] such as the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, South Africa, Australia, and Canada.

International Expansion

Crepe Runner opened its newest branch in Malé ^[6], Maldives on October 7th, 2022, with the goal of taking Sri Lanka's best crepes to the international market. The company has quickly become a favorite among locals and tourists in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
