This is an idea for a bot that would help save a lot of articles from deletion.

It scans the new articles, and searches for the title in the following places:

• Yahoo! News
• CNN
• BBC
• Various other news sites
• Standard web search for related sites

It then posts on the talk page, with a section similair to the following (using Bill Gates as an example, would show more but I have only showed 3 entries):

References by RefBot

Following a search of many news sources, RefBot has found the following articles that may be appropriate as sources:

• [2]
• [3]

It has also searched the internet, and found the following sites that might be useful as other sources or external links:

• [4]
• [5]
• [6]
• [7]

The following searches may provide more information:

• [9]
• [10]
• google:Bill Gates
• google:Bill Gates Biography
• google:Bill Gates Information

In the section above, there are three sections. One is searching news, one is searching the web, and one is related searches. The first and second are to directly provide sources/references, and the third is a simple source for finding more information. Please direct any comments/criticisms to the talk page of this page.
