My interests in Wikipedia in the long run would be to edit pages and give more information of topics many people don't know about, including world wars, and musical artists. I would hope to shed a little extra light on these topics, and more, for other people interested in these topics who don't have the understanding that others may have. In high school, you are taught to never use Wikipedia, and if you do your paper or article will be given a '0' in the grade book as it is not a reliable source. I've always wondered why this is, since Wikipedia is one of the most visited and trusted sites. When asking teachers, they'd say it's because random people can make an edit whether true or false. I feel that if they had taken the time to show students how to truly use this website all would be fine, but instead it is listed as a website to never use. I would like to see this change.
