Edit conflict but with Lowercase sigmabot III ?

This edit by Lowercase sigmabot III deleted this post that I had made three seconds earlier (according to the history). I'm fairly sure that I did not get an edit conflict notice when I published my post, which implies that the bot may have "received" (would a bot even see such a notice?) and ignored such a notice. Same problem here! While archiving an unrelated topic, Lowercase sigmabot III deleted my comment on Wikipedia:Village pump (technical) just after I wrote it [1]. :( Good thing I checked the page after I posted, or my reply would have been lost amidst that really long page. Yes, this is a known bug and a fix is still in the works. It requires some very large changes to how some of the libraries I'm using treat edit conflicts. I can only ask for patience as this requires significant restructuring. →Σσς. (Sigma) 08:12, 26 January 2018 (UTC)

Archiving new talk, keeping old talk

Lowercase sigmabot III is archiving new talk, and keeping ancient talk on Talk:Bushmaster XM-15. It would be preferable the other way around. Weedwhacker128 (talk) 00:10, 26 January 2018 (UTC)

The threads in question are so old that the bot can't recognise the timestamps. (note that the months are three letters long - Oct instead of October). Here it may be best to manually archive them. WP:ARCHIVE has some pointers to tools to hand-select threads to archive (one of them being Archy McArchface, which I myself created); you may find it useful. →Σσς. (Sigma) 08:15, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
