Sichuanese
editNo problem! Glad I could help - really you did all the work. I'm not doubting the quality of the sources; it's just that they're all in Mandarin so difficult for an English speaker to verify... I wanted to use a more relevant template but couldn't find one. What you've written looks very well researched, but it would be good to find some English sources if possible. Of course, if there aren't any, the Mandarin ones are better than none. I'm trying to learn Mandarin at the moment so I find reading this sort of thing very interesting!--Freelance Intellectual (talk) 12:33, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Edit summaries
editHello. Thank you for your help with the Sichuan topics template. Sorry to restore the education section. We can discuss that at talk, if you like.
I am writing just to ask you to use edit summaries more often. It's a big help to all of us, and saves us a lot of time. Many thanks and happy editing. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 08:07, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
Wikipedians in Chengdu
editHi Bruin,
I was looking for Wikipedia users in Chengdu, and I came on your page.
I am a foreigner currently living in Chengdu, and I was hoping to get in contact with some other Wikipedia editors here in Chengdu. I was especially intrigued by your account, because I studied linguistics and I noticed that you've made many edits to articles about Sichuanese linguistics.
So if you are in fact living in Chengdu, I would be happy to hear from you!

Sichuanese literary/colloquial readings
editHi, it's Justinrleung from the English Wiktionary. In what context is the pronunciation /tʰai/ used for 大? I've searched around in several Chengdu Sichuanese dictionaries and the source cited in Sichuanese dialects, but haven't found that reading. Justinrleung (talk) 04:53, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
