Re: Sober (Selena Gomez song)

Some of the references could still use improved formatting, but at least the bare URLs are gone. Thanks for responding on the article's talk page! ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:37, 9 February 2017 (UTC)

@Another Believer: Yeah I'm gonna go back and just re-write the new ones so they follow the same citation format as the refs on the left hand column (it's a GA requirement), but thank you for your help with that! I'm hoping to put this up for a GA nom after this little issue clears up. Would you be interested in be a co-nom with me? Giacobbe talk 23:41, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
You did all the work, so I think you should nominate the article and get full credit I try to only nominate or co-nominate articles when I'm pretty familiar with their content. I'm just glad you took time to expand the article! ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:03, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

Since the article has been nominated for deletion, now would be the time to add any additional sourcing you can find about the song, especially sources specifically about the song and not the album in its entirety. Good luck! ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:34, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Sober (Selena Gomez song)

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Sober (Selena Gomez song) you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria.   This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Glad you've returned

Good to see edits from you again, Giacobbe! I haven't seen your name pop up on my watchlist in quite some time. Hope all has been well lately. While KP has yet to confirm her upcoming album's title, release date, or even if its tracklist will include "Chained to the Rhythm", I've started up Draft:Katy Perry's fifth studio album, and it would be nice if others could help build this before it's ready for mainspace. Feel free to add details there as they come up. Snuggums (talk / edits) 22:18, 22 February 2017 (UTC)

@SNUGGUMS: Good to hear from you old friend! I'm glad to be back. After a much needed break I feel refreshed and motivated to continue editing again. Excited for the new KP era as well, we should start recruiting some new Wikipedians to the project! And I would very much like to help, although I've been a little occupied with editing Selena's articles for now. Giacobbe talk 21:36, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
I've noticed; you could be in for lots of work since Selena seems to be quite occupied these days herself with new music and serving as executive producer on the Thirteen Reasons Why Netflix series. Snuggums (talk / edits) 22:38, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
@SNUGGUMS: It's exciting, and I'm very interested to see where her career heads. I predict great things for Gomez. Listening to her interviews and hearing how in depth and passionate she is, I predict she'll emerge the dominant trend-setting pop artist of her generation (just look at what shes done for Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter). I've noticed that post-2015 music in general is at this really creative, forward looking and genre-bending time that hasn't been seen before (who could have predicted KP would release a successful minimalist dancehall-disco hybrid with politically-charged lyrics as her lead???) What a wonderful time to be back! Giacobbe talk 22:52, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
Wishing the best of luck for both of them. I'm not surprised that Ms. Hudson has delved into political themes given her active involvement in supporting Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election, but definitely didn't think use such genres with it as well as she did! Hopefully "Chained" is on her next album. Snuggums (talk / edits) 23:10, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
