It is a running gag from Monty Python and it has to do with the scene in which women who are not allowed to partizipate in stoning and therefore are all in disguise as men. Well, after one of them did a mistake, they said: "She did it, she did it" and by saying so unveiling her gender. Realizing that, they immediately say (with deep voices): "He did it, he did it!". --Tubesship (talk) 17:18, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Vladimir Pak

edit

A tag has been placed on Vladimir Pak requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ukexpat (talk) 16:51, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Vladimir Pak. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. ukexpat (talk) 16:52, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have no idea what you're talking about. It was not me who tagged your article or deleted it. There's nothing I can do for you any way, since I am just another lowly wiki dweller. (Though maybe one who's a little more exposed, because of getting a lot of stuff nuked.) Andante1980 (talk) 10:05, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dude, read my previous comment... Now please leave me alone. This is all I have to say on the subject. Andante1980 (talk) 10:11, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability of Akademy Masturbation

edit

A tag has been placed on Akademy Masturbation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AndrewWTaylor (talk) 16:26, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Autonomy

edit

I dont really understand why you insist on the South Ossetia status but in 1991 the autonomous oblast status was annuled by the Georgian parliament and therefore currently this region has no special status. However, the Georgian authorities offer higher degree of autonomy for South Ossetia after the conflict is settled. As of now, the status is reduced to the regional entity, part of Shida Karli. For more information of the de jure status of South Ossetian, please consult sources. Iberieli (talk) 19:33, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:The map of the island Shikotan.JPEG

edit

Thanks for uploading File:The map of the island Shikotan.JPEG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:58, 22 December 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 03:58, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
