  Hello, I'm The Triple M. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living person on Ronnie Spector, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TheTriple M 01:39, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

  Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:138.162.8.59, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jeffrd10 (talk) 15:29, 4 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is a shared IP as is mentioned above and used by a lot of people. Why would I want to create an account? I see how people are treated. I just don't see the point in having all this garbage on this page. 138.162.8.59 (talk) 15:31, 4 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Because it clearly demonstrates the history of totally disruptive editing emanating from this IP and which I why I'll be reinstating it. Leaky Caldron 15:33, 4 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Theres only one bad edit for every 20 here so if you want to block it or view that as abuse...whatever. 138.162.8.59 (talk) 15:36, 4 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for trolling, bad faith commenting and other disruption, as you did at WT:RFA. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Legoktm (talk) 19:21, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Oh really, so are you going to block LeakyCauldren too for their bad faith comments about me being a troll? No you aren't, because this isn't about my comments, this is because of who I am and that I am trying to get admins held accountable. You should be ashamed. 138.162.8.59 (talk) 20:01, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
BTW, all I have to do is change my IP, so this really doesn't mean anything. Its just a message to not criticise admins. 138.162.8.59 (talk) 20:04, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Leaky wasn't making bad faith comments. I think Wikipedia:Our social policies are not a suicide pact is relevant here. I honestly couldn't care why you still spend time on Wikipedia after the amount of times you've left, but when you start disturbing people who actually are trying to contribute to the project, I do.
I realize you have multiple IP addresses, and if you evade your block, I will block them. Legoktm (talk) 00:02, 7 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your comments on Nina Green

edit

They're ill-informed. I'm willing to e-mail you some history — you know, facts and diffs — if you're willing to swear on the bible that you're interested in them, and willing to take the time to read them (it'll take quite some time). Very likely you're not, and in that case it's hardly worth my trouble. Bishonen | talk 17:19, 21 February 2014 (UTC).Reply

No its ok, thanks for the offer though. Even if I read them and provided a profound and well articulated instrospection reminiscent of Twain, Frost or Thoreau, anything I added to the discussion would be disregarded and criticized to pieces so there is no reason for you to waste your time.

That IP wasn't me

edit

@Jehochman: Just so you know, that IP you blocked for being me, wasn't me. So now you are blocking IP's who are innocent and accusing them of being me. 138.162.8.58 (talk) 21:38, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

I suppose we'll see how it turns out

edit

@Resolute: I suppose we'll see how the vote turns out. It certainly seems to be in your favor. Of course its pretty easy to change IP's and there are a lot of hotspots in DC wiht free internet. 138.162.8.59 (talk) 21:39, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

As much as I don't care to play whack-a-mole, we both know that unless you effect a serious change in attitude, your socks will be caught and blocked. It isn't like you are suggesting a groundbreaking strategy for ban evasion here. In truth, Kumioko, all you are accomplishing now is to further undermining any point you were trying to make. If you actually did care about improving things here, you would realize that firing up ban-evading socks would simply defeat your own cause. You would, in fact, prove everyone you view as an enemy to be right. Your comments now smack of impotent rage. IMO, you are probably better off just taking six months off and deciding then if you feel the desire to return. Resolute 21:52, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Resolute:You know there are 2 problems with what you are saying. First, its not "my cause" I was trying to help improve the project. Second, I was totally dedicated to the project and you all destroyed that by showing me how truly ugly this place is. 131.171.81.79 (talk) 00:24, 28 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

So I guess you don't really care you blocked innocent editors and accused them of being me

edit

@AGK: So it appears that you don't care that you blocked a half dozen editors and accused them of being me. I think you need to run the checkuser tool again for the last couple weeks. You might be able to block a lot more innocent editors just to prove how far you are willing to go just to be rid of me and my criticism of Arbcom and admins. 138.162.8.58 (talk) 21:41, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello 138.162.8.59. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Paradiving".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Paradiving}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 09:04, 6 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

edit

  Hello, 138.162.8.59. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI).   • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies.
Please read Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest guidelines before editing any articles related to the United States military or government to ensure you are in compliance. Thank you
