Request reason:
Hi this IP range (165.225.98.64/27) has been blocked. This IP range covers an entire building, masked by 'Zscaler Inc.' which is just an internet security gateway. I, for example, am not a part of Zscaler inc. I am an independent contractor working for a financial company in Melbourne Australia. Anyone under this IP is bound by the Australian financial regulator ASIC to NOT provide misleading information to the national or international public. If a mistake has been made it can and will be rectified. The words that are being thrown around so carelessly as reasons to block an entire range of IP addresses is quite disturbing, "vandalism" as an example. Can you please provide more information or allow further discussion in order to remove this block and provide further guidelines as what was constituted as "vandalism". This appears to be an abuse of power as an administrator for Wikipedia. Someone can easily setup another account through another ISP, but I would prefer to have this rectified in the correct manner, allowing others to contribute with the authority as some of the anonymous users on here.
Decline reason:
As you point out, this IP address is used by Zscaler. It's blocked because it's functioning as an open proxy. But don't worry, you can still edit. You just need to sign in with an account created elsewhere. Yamla (talk) 23:46, 19 April 2018 (UTC)

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Callum Sinclair. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Jevansen (talk) 06:21, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Schooner (glass), you may be blocked from editing. NYBrook098 (talk) 04:38, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
