  Hello, I'm Denniss. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Hayden Rolence, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Denniss (talk) 15:46, 27 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

  Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Charles M. Schulz, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. CodeTalker (talk) 17:48, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Kirk Douglas. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Nythar (talk) 10:08, 24 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

August 2022

edit

  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Kirk Douglas, you may be blocked from editing without further warnings. Thank you, - FlightTime (open channel) 18:14, 4 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kirk Douglas. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. - FlightTime (open channel) 18:35, 4 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Canadian Prime Ministers

edit

Please do not renumber them without obtaining prior consensus. DuncanHill (talk) 14:49, 26 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think the problem is that user 173.252.50.54 is trying to use American-style numbering with 2 numbers for nonconsecutive mandates. For example in the USA, Grover Cleveland is considered the 22nd AND 24th president because his 2 terms were nonconsecutive, and this changes the numbering for all later presidents - see List of presidents of the United States. But Canada does not use the same numbering system: prime ministers with 2 (or 3 for William Lyon MacKenzie King) nonconsecutive mandates only have one number. The correct numbers for Canada are shown as shown in List of prime ministers of Canada. Dirac66 (talk) 15:58, 26 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
