Request reason:
I have no idea why I'd be blocked. I am not using a proxy server and I have never edited or attempted to edit Wikipedia pages before. I have lived at my current address (and have presumably had the same IP address for nearly two years). Could you please unblock me? Thanks! 184.102.195.78 (talk) 19:10, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
Accept reason:
No longer running anything on the identified port. Yamla (talk) 19:39, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry for the trouble/-Don't take it personally. It's the IP that is blocked. Unfortunately, This shows the IP as a Proxy/VPN. Wikipedia:Open_proxies has more information on proxies. Sorry I cannot be more helpful.--Dlohcierekim (talk) 19:36, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
- Edit-conflict. Dlohcierekim, I did a scan and it looks like there's no longer anything running on that IP address. Certainly not the specific port in question. I believe ipqualityscore is caching the results. I took the liberty of lifting the block, but did so before I saw your comments here. --Yamla (talk) 19:39, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
- No problem and thanks. I'm not able to scan that way. Glad user is now unblocked.--Dlohcierekim (talk) 19:42, 10 April 2018 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
