Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. At least one of your edits on the page The Cheese Grater, while it may have been in good faith, was difficult to distinguish from vandalism. To help other editors understand the reason for the changes, you can use an edit summary for your contributions. You can also take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Redtree21 (talk) 12:28, 19 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Redtree21 (talk) 12:31, 19 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 6 months for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Acroterion (talk) 13:11, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

A six month block on a dynamic IP address is petulant, punitive, and a blatant violation of the blocking policy. What an unfathomable mystery it is that you should attack an IP address in this way, while ignoring consciously disruptive editing by accounts that revert for no reason, adding serious policy violations to an article. 185.253.178.1 (talk) 13:16, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This has nothing to do with "hatred of people without accounts" and everything to do with the fact that you clearly are evading a block. 331dot (talk) 06:20, 13 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This IP has been repeatedly blocked for abuse and as a proxy. It is again. And since you are exhibiting behaviors associated with one of our perennial abusive editors, it seems prudent to ensure that this IP can't be abused for a long while. Acroterion (talk) 13:24, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
"behaviors associated with one of our perennial abusive editors" - like, improving an article by making it comply with core policies? Which perennial abusive editor does that then? I doubt you even looked at the two edits made from this IP address that you somehow characterised as "persistent disruptive editing", did you? You just saw an edit warrior forum-shopping to try to gain the upper hand in a content dispute, read their spurious claim for article protection through a lens of hatred of people without accounts, and blocked aggressively and in violation of policy, purely because of your prejudice. 185.253.178.1 (talk) 13:33, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
