  Hello. Your recent edit to Fairfield Union High School appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Will Cain bio / error {request edit}

edit

Hello. Will Cain works here at ESPN. His bio says he "accused" Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers of being a "suicide bomber" when in fact he compared Brown's actions to those of a suicide bomber. The attached video shows it. Very big difference. Can this be corrected? Thanks.

re The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament section. It says ESPN started televising games in 1982. Wrong. It was 1980.

Here's the section in question:

In 1982, CBS obtained broadcast television rights to the NCAA tournament.

ESPN & CBS share coverage The same year as CBS obtained rights to the Big Dance, ESPN began showing the opening rounds of the tournament.

Can this please be corrected? Thanks, Dave.Nagle@espn.com

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Will Cain bio

edit

Thanks for changing the reference to Antonio Brown and Will's use of "suicide bomber"....although we wonder if that incident is worthy of inclusion. How are such decisions made?

Also, his bio could be much more robust. In fact, you link to our version of it in Footnote #2. Could his bio be expanded with this info?

Thanks, Dave

Please make edit requests on the article's talk page. The incident in question does not appear worthy of inclusion to me, but there is no editorial board here on Wikipedia and different editors interpret our guidelines differently. We try to give due weight to incidents. You can also see our guidelines on the biographies of living persons. His bio will be expanded the next time a willing editor adds more to the article. You may also suggest additions on the article's talk page. – Þjarkur (talk) 17:57, 9 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Given that the content was removed without any discussion in the edit summary nor on the article's talk page, I've reverted the removal. –Skywatcher68 (talk) 19:17, 15 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Will Cain at ESPN

edit

We see an entry in his bio today saying he announced today he's leaving ESPN. No truth to this. Did not happen. Can someone remove it? Thanks.

another error in Will Cain bio request edit

edit

It says he became co-host of Ryen Russillo's show, with a footnote to a press release of our's saying it would happen. Well, it never did. Ryen soon left his radio show. Can that sentence be removed? Thanks.
