Zhelin Reservoir (柘林湖)

edit

Hi, I don't speak Chinese but it seems as though this may be Zhelin Reservoir, on which we have had an article since 2007. Is there any possibility that they're the same place? Blythwood (talk) 20:28, 16 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Blythwood: Thank you for your careful observation. I am sorry that I did not see the Zhelin Reservoir. They are indeed the same place.1989ChenKongkong1225 (talk) 03:15, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Not to worry, we all make mistakes. I've converted the Zhelin Lake article into a redirect to the Zhelin Reservoir page. Sounds like it would be a good idea to expand the existing article as it's quite limited. Your text is available here, it hasn't been deleted. Blythwood (talk) 11:48, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kalamely Mountain, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Humanity. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:24, 14 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Alternative spellings

edit

Hallo, Thanks for creating Narin Gol River. You list several alternative spellings in the lead, in bold, but the bold in the lead section, beyond the first mention of the title, is supposed to be used for terms which are the target of incoming redirects (so that someone can see why they have arrived at the page). See MOS:BOLD. There should be a redirect from each of the alternative terms, to help a reader who searches on that term, and to make sure that if an editor links to one of them the link will still work, and to reduce the risk of someone creating a duplicate article for the same river under a different title. I've created the necessary redirects in this case, but another time I suggest that you do so yourself - if an alternative name is worth mentioning in the lead section and bolding, then it needs a redirect (or sometimes a disambiguation page entry, or a hatnote on another article which uses that name). Thanks. PamD 17:28, 5 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

@PamD:Thank you for your careful guidance and valuable suggestions, I will do it myself. 1989ChenKongkong1225 (talk) 15:55, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Shenzhen Economic Daily

edit

Hello, 1989ChenKongkong1225,

Thank you for creating Shenzhen Economic Daily.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article appears to be about one event, and not about the newspaper itself. At present, this article does not meet notability as laid out in WP:ORG. This article does not meet criteria given in WP:NMEDIA. Kindly attend to notability issues. Notability is not inherited from an incident. Thank you.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Proposed deletion of Tongtian River (fictional river)

edit

The article Tongtian River (fictional river) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No significant coverage to meet the WP:GNG. Article created by a blocked user, with no substantial edits to improve this to a state that would meet standards including WP:NOT and WP:N.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
